Inclusivity Inspired
Our Mission

Sensory Innovations was designed with the goal of creating a truly inclusive environment in our local community. We strive to promote inclusivity for individuals with unique needs and conditions as well as their family and support systems. At Sensory Innovations we know personally and professionally the struggles of engaging in the community when you have a loved one with unique needs.

The environment at our sensory innovations resource center was specifically designed by occupational therapists to promote learning and engagement in daily activities by activating different sensory systems. By engaging sensory processing strategies, individuals are able to learn and increase their participation in daily activities regardless if they have a medical condition or not.

At Sensory Innovations our goal is to create sensory experiential learning that is accessible to all ages!

We Care
Health & Safety

At Sensory Innovations your health and safety is our top priority. Our policies and procedures follow public health guidelines. All rooms and equipment are sanitized after every client use. Crowded places are no fun especially for many of our clients with unique needs. Therefore, our membership options allow you to reserve a time to block to use the facility on your schedule while allowing time for our team members to sanitize in between sessions.

Sensory Innovations
What does the word “Sensory” mean?

Sensory is how we use information to interact with our environment. For example, seeing a curb and adjusting our step. Our brain turns sensory input into automatic responses. Believe it or not, this process is not always automation for people or animals. Sensory processing can be improved for a better life. We have touch, taste, smell, vision, body awareness, and balance. Sensory Innovations is more than a gym or a discovery center, our unique sensory themed world is geared toward activating your imagination.

  • Our Sensory Systems include tactile, olfactory, vision, taste, proprioception, vestibular, and interoception.

  • Do you live on Earth? Then we can be friends (no offense to undiscovered Martians). Literally anyone can benefit from sensory education. It’s a matter of function, are you pleased with your level of participation in your daily activities? Do you desire more enthusiasm, focus or motivation?

Below are some common conditions you may find you need assistance with:

    • Adults and children with autism spectrum disorder

    • Children and adults with sensory processing concerns

    • “Typical” individuals (no such thing but no big deal)

    • Individuals with developmental disabilities

    • Parents and caregivers of special needs individuals

    • Individuals coping with traumatic brain injury, depression, anxiety
